AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
This atmospheric black-and-white photograph depicts a tranquil landscape in which light and darkness play a leading role. Against an almost completely black sky, the trees and the building by the water stand out brightly, giving the scene a mysterious, almost dreamlike appearance. The reflections in the still water reinforce the calm and add depth to the composition. Through the strong contrast, it seems the photographer is less interested in a literal recording of the landscape than in its mood and graphic effect: trees, water, and architecture become almost abstract forms of light and shadow. The result is a restrained yet intriguing image in which a familiar environment suddenly appears unreal and timeless.
