The S.T. Dupont Ligne 1 Small lighter presents a generally good condition, with signs of use more pronounced that add character to the piece, while at all times maintaining its functionality and aesthetic presence.

The finish in gold-plated with a horizontal striped pattern preserves its visual appeal, although evident wear is noticeable in the more exposed areas, especially on edges, corners and upper edges, where the plating shows more noticeable losses. These areas show a smoothing of the relief and small marks typical of continued use, visible but coherent with the object's age.

On the main faces micro-scratches and slight irregularities in the gold plating are observed, without compromising the overall uniformity. The “godrón” engraving maintains good definition over most of the surface, though with some wear at points of higher friction.

What stands out is the presence of a personalization engraved with initials on the upper lateral part, a detail to consider since it affects the collectible value compared to non-personalized specimens.

The opening mechanism works correctly, with a firm cap and well aligned. The ignition system responds effectively, generating a stable flame, which confirms the piece has been checked and is operational.
