Parker 51 fountain pen with a black lucite body, Lustraloy cap, gold-plated arrow clip with a blue diamond, hooded gold nib, internal filling system, made in the United States in the mid‑20th century; length 13.5 cm, diameter 1.15 cm, in good used condition.

Reference / Edition: "51" with Lustraloy cap and gold-plated clip with Parker imprint and blue diamond
Length: 13.5 cm
Diameter: 1.15 cm
Nib: M
Period: 1940s (American manufacture)
Materials: Black resin/Lucite body and inner cap, exterior cap in Lustraloy (brushed/polished stainless steel) with a gold-plated arrow clip topped by the blue diamond and a metal retaining ring; hooded gold nib with visible tip; internal filling system specific to the series, not disassembled in the photos.
Condition: Good overall conservation for its age. The cap retains a uniform shine, with no dents or deformations; light signs of use and a fine personalized engraving next to the clip are visible, as well as small surface stains in the arrow area. Clip and blue diamond intact; imprints legible. The black body maintains a very good shine, with fine micro-scratches visible against the light, no impacts, cracks, or material loss. Hooded nib straight and well centered. The functioning of the filling mechanism is not observable in the photos.
Extras: Only the loose piece; no box or papers visible in the photos.
