Masking tape holds a lemon to a gray surface... all painted in oil. The paper masking tape represents the precariousness of existence and our temporariness, while the lemon symbolizes our consumption of art.

Massimo Romani was born in Novara in 1968. He studied at the Liceo Artistico Statale in Novara and subsequently graduated in Painting from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan. He has exhibited for several years in Italy and abroad. Some of his works are in Italian museums.

Massimo Romani è nato a Novara nel 1968. Studia al Liceo Artistico Statale di Novara e successivamente si diploma in Pittura presso l'Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera a Milano. Espone da diversi anni in Italia e all'estero. Alcune sue opere si trovano in musei italiani.
