Graphic work depicting three African women, characterized by a figurative composition with intense colors and a strong chromatic rendering.
The artwork bears the signature "Fiume" in pencil at the bottom right and the inscription "P.A." (Prova d'Artista) at the bottom left.
The signature and subject appear compatible with Salvatore Fiume's graphic production (Comiso, 1915 – Canzo, 1997).
The current owner of the work has stated that it is an original work by Salvatore Fiume and that the related certificate of authenticity has been lost. Therefore, no certificate is available to attach to the sale.
The work is offered on the basis of visible characteristics, the signature and the P.A. inscription; authenticity and any final attribution are to be verified by Catawiki experts.
Print technique: not verified.
Overall dimensions with frame: approximately 98 × 78 cm.
The work is presented in a frame with a matte.
General condition good. There are some signs and imperfections due to storage, visible in the photographs. The frame also shows normal signs of use and aging.
