Lot Description (Description)
Vintage Zippo slim model lighter with classic high polish chrome finish.
This is the iconic slender-format version produced by Zippo in Bradford, Pennsylvania, particularly valued by collectors for its sleek compact silhouette.
Bottom / Inscription: Retains the authenticity stamp on the base with the classic Zippo logo and provenance Bradford, PA.
Interior insert: Original markings with Zippo MFG. CO. Bradford, PA patent numbers and instructions engraved ("For best results use Zippo flints and fluid / Lighter does not self extinguish...").
Mechanism: The wheel rotates and makes contact; the wick and cotton are complete.
Condition: In vintage used cosmetic condition. Shows natural patina, micro-scratches and light surface wear due to age on the chrome case, maintaining full structural integrity. Solid 5-loop hinge.
Operation: Has not been tested with gasoline for safety reasons in transport. Needs flint replacement.
