Waterman W3 fountain pen in burgundy red lacquered resin with a peineta clip, gold-plated accents and a 14-carat gold nib marked Waterman’s 14 CT W3; 12.9 cm long, 1.1 cm in diameter, made in France, dating from the mid-20th century, in good used condition with light wear.

Nib: EF (extra-fine), 14-carat gold marked "Waterman's 14 CT W3"
Period: 1940s–1950s
Materials: body and cap in red burgundy lacquered resin/celluloid, with a transparent ink window section in the body; comb-style clip, cap band and end cap adornment in gold-tone metal; 14-carat gold nib.
Condition: generally good overall condition. The red lacquer retains a bright, even shine, with no cracks or color loss; light signs of use and a few superficial scratches on the body and cap, visible only against the light. The gold wash on the clip and band shows gentle wear typical of age, with slight rubbing on the upper part of the clip. The gold nib is straight, with tines aligned and without bends. Used item, cared for and with all original elements.
Accessories: only the loose piece; no box or papers visible in the photos.
