In the early '90s, Japanese manufacturers were busy raising the 600cc class to a higher level. Kawasaki’s idea was clear: the performance of a big sports motorcycle, but in a 600cc package. The ZX-6 wasn’t a 'small' sportbike, but a mature machine whose size and performance came close to the larger 750s. It quickly grew into a fast and serious sportbike.
The heart of the ZX-6 is a 599cc four-cylinder with twin camshafts and as many as 16 valves. The engine is built to rev and really comes alive at high revs. In combination with the full fairing and the sporty chassis, that creates a characteristic '90s sportbike character: light on its feet, high-revving, and direct.
Has been standing for a long time; the carburetors must be cleaned and the battery needs replacing.
Fuel tank still looks good, but contains old gasoline.
Rear tire is from 2019 and front tire from 2018.
The motorcycle has a valid Dutch license plate.
