While Salvador Dalí remains a towering icon of Surrealism, his legacy deeply intersects with the market forces that define today's 20 most valuable artists in the world, such as Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Dalí was a pioneer not only in blending subconscious dreams with meticulous technique, but also in mastering self-promotion and commercial art, effectively predicting the modern art market's obsession with brand identity.
