About the work:
This original work comes from Fredi Gertsch’s studio. The piece blends elements of pop art, street art, and contemporary painting. Bold colors, spontaneous gestural touches, and a distinctive visual language define the work and give it a strong visual presence.
Unique piece:
This is an original single piece. Each work by Fredi Gertsch arises from an autonomous creative process and is unique. There are no reproductions, prints, or additional editions of this motif.
The works are created by hand and are characterized by individual textures, color gradients, brush strokes, overlays, and other distinctive features of the artistic process. Such intrinsic properties are part of the original and are not defects.
A return due to such artistic characteristics is excluded.
About the artist:
Fredi Gertsch is a Swiss contemporary painter with a studio and gallery space in the historic town center of Burgdorf. Since 2021, he has worked at Kronenplatz in a generous ground-floor studio with four large display windows, where visitors can regularly experience his current works in their original form.
His art blends Pop Art and Street Art aesthetics with narrative imagery. Animals, people, and everyday symbols become protagonists of multilayered stories about nature, society, and human coexistence. Humor, optimism, and a distinctive use of color characterize his works.
Many works arise freely from imagination, while others develop from digital sketches that are consciously altered, abstracted, and developed further during the painting process. The result is always a standalone original with a personal handwriting.
