Description from the seller

"PATHS"

The collection "Paths" represents the idea that life is not a straight line but a set of roads, forks, detours. Everyone starts from a different point, walks at different paces, stumbles, goes back, changes direction. There is not a single the only right way to get somewhere.

Each individual piece is a unique handmade item crafted with care and feeling. The sculpture was shaped in clay and fired in a professional kiln, subsequently patinated cold. In the porosity and in the imperfections of the terracotta and pigments used, resides the beauty of this material.

Shipping will be carried out carefully. All works are hand-signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Techniques of work:

Sculpture: Patinated Terracotta
Sphere: Brass

Nicole Furlan, born 1991, attended art and photography academy. Always seeking inspiration to grow. Raised in the Tuscan countryside, she re-discovers in small things the charm of simplicity and re-presents it through matter, thus allowing an open dialogue with her unconscious.
For several years she has had the opportunity to create a connection between sculpture (soul) and human in her Atelier/Laboratory in Pitigliano, a small village with Etruscan origins. A new, delicate formula of deep connections.
In 2020 she decided to return to living in open countryside, so as to focus even more on the self and on what she wants to express.
