AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Guitar: Eko TL 300 Telecaster, purchased new in September 2026 by a contemporary artist (biography attached and studio photos) to create a unique and customized instrument. The guitar body has been hand-inlaid, reproducing musical and decorative motifs. The inlays have different depths to create greater movement on the surface of the instrument, and steel inserts have been applied; some of them have been hand-engraved. The guitar is new, so it has only been played to perform a setup and verify its functionality. The strings are new, and it will be provided with the original jack cable and wrenches. It will be carefully packed and shipped by courier.

Biography

Andrea Oliva was born in Milan on 15/02/1973. He attended the classical high school, then followed his impulse, left the ginnasio and enrolled at the Caravaggio Art High School where he graduated in 1992 and subsequently at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts; he played in several musical groups (drums and guitar). Simultaneously he attended the ateliers of already established artists and began a long period of collaboration with some of them, from whom he learned the specific techniques of sculpture. He also worked for a period at the historic plaster workshop "Fumagalli e Dossi". He began a constant series of solo exhibitions; the first in 1994, and he also participated in group exhibitions, sculpture symposia and competitions. He became a member artist of the Museo della Permanente in Milan, and he also devoted himself to painting and to writing poetry, some of which was published in professional journals.
He carried out on commission the plaques for the "Doctoral Degree in Chemical Sciences and in Industrial Chemistry" for the University of Milan in 2004 and for the University of Insubria (Varese–Como) in 2005.
He has created several public monuments; one of the most important is a sepulchral monument located in the Milan Great Cemetery (Cimitero Maggiore di Milano).
