Glenmorangie A Tale of Cake - 70cl

Glenmorangie A Tale of Cake was inspired by the memories of Dr. Bill Lumsden, Director of Whisky Creation. Drawing on recollections ranging from the pineapple cake his daughter baked for his birthday to cooking with his grandmother in her kitchen, Dr. Bill conceived a whisky designed to bring the magic of a "cake moment" to life in his favorite spirit. Consequently, Glenmorangie A Tale of Cake is a whisky initially matured in bourbon casks and finished in Tokaji dessert wine casks.

Classic Glenmorangie notes are prominent on the nose. Initially, aromas of orchard fruits, honey, and creamy vanilla emerge, followed by chocolate, crème brûlée, hints of elderflower, and a range of fruity elements. The palate is complex and crisp, featuring light tannic wood notes that cut through flinty mineral undertones, alongside flavors of peaches, orange chocolate, apricot croissants, and vanilla.
