Content: a foreword by Ernst Jünger and a series of firsthand accounts of Freikorps fighting in the Baltic, the scuttling of the fleet at Scapa Flow, the Republic of Councils in Munich, the Kapp Putsch, the occupation of the Ruhr, and fighting in Upper Silesia. Authors include Ernst von Salomon, Hartmann Plaas, Gerhard Günther, and others.
Conditions of the copy: light signs of use and minor bumps to the cloth cover. Paper naturally browned with time, with some small scattered foxing (also to the endpapers). No handwriting or pencil annotations. Missing the dust jacket. Binding still solid and the volume complete.
An important and sought-after document of the “conservative revolution” and of Freikorps literature in the early Weimar Republic.
