A fantastic first UK mono pressing of Get Happy with Freddie Redd, released in 1958 on Pye Nixa (NJL 19) with the original black labels. Freddie Redd is best known for his work as a pianist and composer in the hard bop scene, and this intimate trio recording showcases his elegant, swinging piano style. A rare UK Nixa issue of Freddie Redd’s 1956 Stockholm recordings desirable pressing for collectors.

The record comes complete with its original inner sleeve, adding to its appeal as an original copy.

Condition: Cover EX, with only light signs of age and handling. Vinyl NM, exceptionally clean and showing virtually no signs of use. A beautiful example of this rare pressing.
