Don Rendell / Ian Carr Quintet – Dusk Fire – Rare 1972 Japanese 1st Pressing

A beautiful first Japanese pressing of Dusk Fire, released in Japan in 1972 on Philips (RJ-5017). Originally recorded in 1966, this highly regarded British jazz album is considered one of the finest recordings by the Don Rendell / Ian Carr Quintet, combining modern jazz, modal influences and excellent small-group interplay.
