Description from the seller
Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch (From the Moon to Mars) ref. 35775000 in brand new, never worn condition, still with the sticker underneath as shown in the photo. Complete with box and official full-set warranty. The Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch "From the Moon to Mars" (ref. 3577.50.00) is a numbered edition; each piece bears its own progressive serial number on the case back. Since Omega does not officially publish production data for these numbered editions, there is no definitive figure. However, experts and the collector community estimate that during its entire production run (about 2004 to 2012) around 6,000 pieces were made. The Omega Speedmaster Professional "From the Moon to Mars" was introduced in 2004 at the Baselworld watch fair. The watch was produced to celebrate and commemorate the new NASA space exploration plans announced at that time. In early 2004, the United States government had proclaimed a new and ambitious vision for the future of aerospace, which envisioned: humanity returning to the Moon with the construction of a permanent lunar base. Using the lunar station as a fundamental stepping-stone for future crewed missions directed toward Mars. Omega, closely tied to NASA since the Apollo missions of 1969, paid homage to this ideal "space relay" by personalizing the Moonwatch dial: the three traditional chronograph subdials actually feature photorealistic prints of Earth, the Moon, and Mars, graphically symbolizing the planned journey to the Red Planet. Please note that this model, being a New Old Stock, currently has a much higher value than a used watch of the same kind; in my view this specimen is a unique find on the web and is certainly an investment for Omega collectors. I repeat: virtually unavailable in new condition. Shipping is tracked and insured. I do not ship outside Europe.
