Description from the seller

Luciana Livi/Pesaro/Italy

Luciana Livi holds a degree in Painting from the Bologna Academy of Fine Arts and a diploma in Restoration of paintings from the Cappiello Academy in Florence.
Luciana Livi has exhibited in solo and group shows in Italy and Europe, including Trevi Flash Art Museum - Trevi (IT), Rassegna di libri d’artista VII edition Milano Bookcity 2023 / Spazio Mantegna - Milan (IT), Galerie Sonia Monti - Paris (FR).
Her works are permanently part of the circuits of the contemporary art market, as well as present in private collections in various corners of the world, such as Europe, United States, Australia and Japan.
The artist aims to focus within her images those emotions that arise from the act of remembering. In her works there materializes a kind of frame that is a bit a form of memory frozen and made poetic, as when one tries to stop an emotion to render it powerful like a fixed idea, making it capable of acquiring a kind of eternity.
Paolo Nardon.
There is a lot of sensuality, mystery, intimacy in these beautiful works by Luciana Livi.
Flavio Scaloni.

The painting "La strada Bianca" XXL is part of the Collection: "Trasgressioni", which explores the strength of light and its peculiarities. The absolutely most anarchic form of politics is Light, which can overturn order in a single moment, permanently transforming it and then recreating it.
The image explores rugged, solitary and unique realities that encounter new and unknown places.
The oil on canvas work is made on canvas prepared by hand with Bologna plaster and rabbit glue following ancient techniques.
The painting, without a frame, is made in a larger dimension (about 6 cm per side) to allow its framing. It will be carefully protected and shipped rolled with packaging that guarantees maximum safety, provided with COA, Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
