"I LOVE ART OFF-PISTE"

Richard Orlinski has been since 2015 the best-selling French contemporary artist in the world. He began his artistic career in 2004, and created his first work, a red acrylic crocodile, which quickly became an iconic piece of the sculptor’s bestiary.
The artist draws inspiration from pop culture, everyday objects, the popular. Soon, Richard Orlinski develops new sculptures, often animals, all symbols of freedom, power and passion. The result are electrifying works, with pop colors and a faceted style that will travel the world.
Very quickly, exhibiting his works at often spectacular dimensions, in unusual open-air spaces becomes his signature.
Driven by the will to democratize art and make it accessible to as many people as possible, Richard Orlinski explores all means of expression and his art knows no boundaries. In 2021, he was named Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters by Culture Minister Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin.
With several million followers on social networks, Richard Orlinski brings together a community of both casual fans and deeply engaged enthusiasts. An undeniable source of inspiration for the artist who invests 100% in each of his projects. "I deeply believe in the power of art; often, people don’t dare push open the door of a gallery or a museum, so I make sure the museum comes to them!"
