With its two channels and 3 gain modes per channel, this monster of a amp creates a total of 6 basic sounds. The 50-watt all-tube head also offers numerous connectivity options in the form of two effects loops for external effects devices, MIDI connectivity, and speaker connections for 4, 8 or 16 ohms.

The enormous flexibility of the Marshall JVM205H head comes from its two independent channels, each offering three switchable gain modes per channel.
From clean, transparent tones on the clean channel to the juicy crunch of blues and rock, through the smoky high-gain sound for metal players, this amp monster is ready for any fun.
To further tailor the sound, it has an independent 3-band equalizer for each individual channel, making the range of possible tones seem almost infinite.
50 watts of power from two EL34 tubes

The JVM205H head is built with a classic all-tube design and is based on a four-tube ECC83 preamplifier and an additional ECC83 phase inverter to provide ample gain reserves for the hotter high-gain sounds of the OD channels.
In the power amplifier, two EL34 pentodes deliver up to 50 watts of power for rehearsal and live performances.

Extensive connectivity for effects, recording and MIDI

The broad connectivity of the Marshall JVM205H for rehearsal, studio and stage demonstrates that it can be used in any application. The rear panel not only provides connections for cabinets with impedances of 4, 8 or 16 ohms, but also two usable effects loops.
These allow you to link effect pedals between the preamplifier and power amplifier, making delay and modulation effects particularly effective. Additionally, all switches on the JVM205H can be controlled via MIDI, while the emulated Out line in XLR format also enables quiet recording.
