Description from the seller
1. The Lemon Pipers – Green Tambourine (Buddah Records – BDS 5009) made in USA 1968 original 1st pressing LP | vinyl: NM (near mint) | cover: excellent (some sticker dirt top right) -->Psychedelic Rock, Pop Rock, Bubblegum
2. The Lemon Pipers – Jungle Marmalade (Buddah Records – BDS 5016) made in USA 1968 original 1st pressing LP | vinyl: NM (near mint) | cover: excellent (little tape on cover, copper deletion pin punched in cover top left)
Oxford/Cincinnati, Ohio area, USA, 1966-70.
The Lemon Pipers were formed when Tony and the Bandits, Ivan and the Sabers and the Driving Winds did a three way swap of lead singers. They were associated with Bubblegum Pop, although they were a 'real' band and played on all their recordings. Some members went on to form Starstruck, which became Ram Jam.
Seller's Story
My name is Hans Kesteloo and I finally decided to sell my ‘remaining’ collection of 45’s, LP’s, CD’s, DVD’s, laserdiscs and other odd things after more than 60 years of ‘hardcore’ collecting. I purchased my first 45 in 1965, and this was the beginning of an enjoyable, long-time hobby – a real-time “collector’s career”. Now time has come to pass the baton !
When you like to see all my current active sale offers, then click on my name 'Klemtoon' in any lot / auction.
Please note: Since I'm a one man show and aged, I can only send on mondays and thursdays.
Returns: In case you like to return an item:
I will refund the postage cost of shipping the item(s) to buyer.
Buyer pays for the cost of returning that item(s)
My grading in Brackets is the same as the grading before that, but here I use the old respected "Goldmine" grading for the older traditional collector!
vg+ = slight traces of use / visible traces inaudible (Goldmine grading: VG+)
ex = very light inaudible traces (Goldmine grading: VG++)
nm = as new (Goldmine Grading: M-)
mint = new (Goldmine grading: M)
