Made in precious light green Italian resin and silver, the pen's design features a clip reproducing one of the universal symbols of philosophy. The cap band—in silver—is engraved with Anaximander's portrait on the front and the motto: "The infinite is immortal and indestructible" on the back, reflecting his cosmological view. At the top of the cap is set a small coin depicting an owl, a symbol of philosophy, regarded as such by Hegel in the nineteenth century.
