Maita is proud to present an exclusive collection of pens inspired by great philosophers, particularly Heraclitus. This series, limited to only 199 pieces, celebrates one of the most fascinating and profound philosophers of antiquity. Known as the "Philosopher of the Unity of Opposites," Heraclitus explored the theme of change and transformation, emphasizing that "everything flows" and that reality is in perpetual becoming.
Made in precious Italian orange resin and silver, the pen design is characterized by a clip that reproduces one of the universal symbols of philosophy. The cap band—in silver—is engraved with the profile of Anaximander on the front and the motto: "You will never find the truth unless you are willing to accept what you did not expect to find" on the back, reflecting his enigmatic personality and his deep understanding of nature.
On the top of the cap is set a coin depicting an owl, a symbol of philosophy, considered such by Hegel in the nineteenth century.
