Maita is proud to present an exclusive collection of pens inspired by great philosophers, particularly Pythagoras. This series, limited to 100 pieces, pays homage to the renowned ancient philosopher and mathematician, known for his contribution to mathematics and philosophy. His famous statement "Everything is number" reflects his view of the world as a reality governed by mathematical and harmonious principles.
Crafted in precious Italian tortoiseshell brown resin and silver, the pen design features a clip that reproduces one of the universal symbols of philosophy. The cap ring — in silver — is engraved with Pythagoras’ profile on the front and the motto: "Learn to be quiet. Let your mind, calm, listen and learn" on the back. At the top of the cap is set a coin depicting an owl, a symbol of philosophy, considered such by Hegel in the nineteenth century.
