Montblanc - StarWalker Midnight Black - Pen

We present at auction a piece of great charm and modernity signed by Montblanc: the exclusive rollerball pen from the StarWalker collection, in the sought-after Midnight Black model. This line embodies the most contemporary and futuristic spirit of the maison, combining clean, lean lines with a dark, deep shade that makes a strong visual impact.

The body and cap are masterfully crafted in precious black resin with glossy details, enriched by splendid metal finishes with a dark ruthenium coating (black platinum). The grip section and the nib section feature a refined grid-embossed pattern that ensures an optimal ergonomic grip, while the curved, tech-inspired profile of the clip gives the object a unique character. Dominating the silhouette, as the collection’s unmistakable signature, is the iconic transparent dome at the top of the cap, inside which the pure white Montblanc star gracefully floats.

From a technical standpoint, the instrument is configured as a rollerball pen with a twist/push-cap. The photographs showing the pen disassembled confirm the perfect integrity of the internal components and the refill housed in the barrel.

The preserved condition of this specimen is to be considered generally good. The ruthenium metal parts maintain their characteristic tone and the operating mechanism is fully functional. However, in strict adherence to our policy of total transparency, there is an evident cosmetic-structural defect: a crack and localized superficial damage to the resin of the cap near the closure. Normal micro-scratches from use are also present on the glossy surfaces. This detail, while testifying to the life of the object and visible in photographs, does not compromise the overall aesthetics or the pen’s functionality.
