AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
This evocative landscape painting depicts a hushed natural scene in which a group of dark trees in the foreground transitions into a vast, open landscape. The deep greens, browns, and grays create a mysterious, almost melancholic atmosphere, while the soft light on the horizon provides a subtle contrast. The carefully worked trees and the loose, painterly brushstrokes in the foliage give the work natural depth and liveliness. The composition invites the viewer to look out into the expansive distance from the shelter of the forest. The warm, classic wooden frame with a gold-colored inner edge forms a stylish surround and enhances the timeless, subdued character of this tranquil landscape.
This is an oil painting on canvas. The work is signed, but the signature is not clearly legible. The painting is framed.
Dimensions: 62 x 98 cm
Dimensions with frame: 83 x 118 cm
