Cartier Pasha fountain pen from the late 1990s with a lapis lazuli blue lacquered body, a heavy gold-plated cap in the grooved Godron pattern, Trinity interlaced rings and black cabochons, and an 18K gold nib engraved with the Cartier double-C emblem, using a cartridge or international converter filling system and produced in France in excellent working condition.
Description from the seller
Up for auction: a superb and imposing high-jewelry writing instrument—the iconic Cartier 'Pasha' fountain pen from the prestigious Maison Cartier. A robust piece that blends the excellence of fine writing with French goldsmithing mastery, dating from the 1990s.
The body of the instrument is luxuriously coated in a deep blue, jaspeated lacquer, emulating the semiprecious lapis lazuli stone. It contrasts masterfully with the heavy, thick cap, heavily gold-plated and adorned with the classic ribbed Godron pattern.
The pen showcases the most recognizable details of the jewelry house’s signature: the three intertwined rings (Trinity) integrated into the cap design, and the classic end caps with black faceted cabochons both on the domed crown and at the base of the body.
The heart of this jewel is its superb original nib forged in solid 18-karat gold (18K 750), engraved with Cartier’s double 'C' emblem. It provides a very smooth and balanced Medium (M) stroke. It operates with standard international cartridges or converter.
Condition:
The piece is in excellent aesthetic and functional condition. The lapis blue lacquer is pristine, maintaining a crystal-clear shine with no cracks or scratches. The gold plating on the Godron pattern remains rich and dazzling, with no signs of wear from use. The cabochons and the Trinity ring are intact. The 18K gold nib is structurally and aesthetically perfect. The piece is delivered loose, without the original case.
