Marlen - Arte - Concerto (Caravaggio) | Edizione limitata di 50 esemplari in resina italiana - Roller ball pen

A work of art in every stroke: Marlen's "ART" series celebrates the most influential artists in art history.

CONCERTO (CARAVAGGIO)
Marlen's Arte collection is enriched with a new masterpiece: a fountain pen and roller dedicated to the famous painting Concerto (also known as The Musicians) created in 1597 by Italian painter Caravaggio. The canvas was commissioned by Cardinal Francesco Maria Del Monte, who intended to imprint the cultural climate of his court onto the canvas: the work indeed portrays three youths engaged in the practice of musical art, among scores and string instruments. The Pagan allegory also features, on the left, a winged cherub trying to take grapes, a probable erotic key to reading the gesture. The second figure from the right, in the background, has features resembling the painter (but it has not been proven with certainty to be a self-portrait, although idealized).
A limited edition, available in 5 different colorways, each produced in 100 fountain pens and 50 rollers, for a total of 150 pieces; this collection in particular is made in matte brown Italian resin with light veins inside. On the pen barrel, in quartz, the miniature of the artwork is reproduced, a detail that makes each pen a unique piece. Two decorative rings close it at the ends, adding a touch of elegance.
The band on the cap is engraved with the name of the work and the author.
At the top of the cap, a disk reproduces the Marlen logo, a symbol of quality and craftsmanship.
With the collection "Arte - Concerto", every stroke becomes an artistic experience, a tribute to art and beauty.
