Montblanc Great Characters Albert Einstein Limited Edition 1500 ballpoint pen with a platinum-plated coating and blue lacquer, 1.7 cm in diameter and 14 cm long, serial number 0881/1500, made in Germany in 2012/2013, in unused new condition and includes the original box.
Description from the seller
Description: A Limited Edition Montblanc ballpoint pen from the 'Great Characters' series, created as a tribute to Albert Einstein (1879-1955), the Germany-born Swiss-American theoretical physicist, philosopher and author who is widely regarded as one of the greatest scientists and the founder of general relativity. Regarding the pen, the platinum-plated housing of the Albert Einstein Limited Edition 1500 glows with the soft light of a distant star, while the dark blue lacquer on the upper portion recalls the velvet darkness of the infinite universe. The pattern on the cap is inspired by Einstein's general theory of relativity and curves around the platinum-gilded ball on the clip, just as the light from a distant object in space would be bent by a star or galaxy in the foreground in what we now call gravitational lensing. The housing is engraved with Einstein's main formulas. The pen comes in the original box with a small hardcover booklet containing Einstein's famous quotes.
