Description from the seller
We present the Marlen Amerigo Vespucci Tour Collection 2023-25
Marlen is proud to present a limited edition collection of pens, a tribute to the incredible voyage around the world of the training ship Amerigo Vespucci, as part of its World Tour 2023-2025.
The cap, elegantly crafted in swirled brown resin, features a refined wooden head that hides a small compass inside, symbol of direction and adventure. A silver band encircles the cap body, embellished with finely incised ocean waves, while the ship’s motto, “Not who begins but what perseveres,” is proudly rendered in relief. A small silver bow originates as a proud, elegant prow on the pen. The clip, a reproduction of the Amerigo Vespucci’s bow, captures the essence of the ship, with its ornaments evoking the history and elegance of the sailing vessel. An elegant silver band adorns the pen’s body. On it, the profile of the Amerigo Vespucci and the Italian flag, hand-glazed, evoke national pride. The inscription “Amerigo Vespucci World Tour 2023-2025” celebrates the undertaking. The tip and the knob, in swirled brown resin, add a touch of warmth and refinement, while two wooden rings embrace the silver band, creating a harmony of materials and meanings.
