Vintage Brass Collectible Lighter – Gunpowder Flask Model, Trench Art

Description:

I am selling a vintage gasoline collectible lighter, handmade from solid brass/bronze. The piece has a special aesthetic, being shaped in the shape of a miniature gunpowder flask, a classic design inspired by period military accessories.

A special heraldic symbol is applied to the body of the lighter: the double-headed eagle, specific to the great empires (Austro-Hungarian / Russian), an element that gives it a strong historical character (Trench Art style).

Technical details and condition:

Material: Brass / bronze with a superb natural patina, accumulated over time.

Mechanism: Classic system with toothed wheel and external amnar.

Functionality: The lighter is perfectly functional, the wick is in good condition and produces a flame (can be seen in the pictures).

Easy maintenance: At the base it has a massive brass screw for quick refueling with fuel (Zippo type gasoline) and access to the inner wadding. Also at the base there is a partial vintage marking/stamp.

Accessories: Comes with the original brass cap that protects the wick against fuel evaporation and a side ring for attaching to a chain or key ring.
