Prestigious collectible lot consisting of 8 assorted vintage pipes and a 3-in-1 brass pocket pipe tool.
The lot includes in detail:
1. Figurative pipe in Meerschaum (sepiolite): Handmade antique sculpture pipe (Meerschaum) with the face of Bacchus/Philosopher. Chimney examination: integral sculptural bowl with a counter-cone, but with a conspicuous chip with material loss on the final edge of the amber mouthpiece.
2. Brebbia Golden Natural 6002 curved pipe: Oom Paul (Full Bent) model, shape 6002 with natural finish. Chimney examination: Display-condition piece, deep chamber with regular, healthy crust. Top edge (rim) intact.
3. Carcano Super 'Real Briar' curved pipe: Slender Billiard model in figured briar, stamped "Carcano Super" and "Real Briar." Chimney examination: Structurally perfect, smooth walls with a uniform black crust and free flow channel.
4. Chateau Bruyere curved pipe: Billiard short/Lovat model with a short stem and saddle joint. Chimney examination: Exceptionally regular combustion chamber, clean crust with no giving way.
5. Cambridge Special pipe: Bent Apple partially rustic to hand with double smooth side medals and white-ring logo on the mouthpiece. Chimney examination: Impeccable chamber, thin, hard crust, top edge perfectly intact.
6. Cambridge Special-style pipe: Bent Dublin conical model with partially rusticized side engravings, no marks. Chimney examination: Excellent condition, briar at the bottom partially virgin with visible grain (very lightly used).
7. Chateau straight pipe: Classic straight Billiard model in figured briar with a long stem. Chimney examination: Walls in perfect condition, regular protective crust, and the smoke passage completely free.
8. Jeantet Chateau Bruyere pipe: Bent Billiard curved model with a ring in genuine blond horn and star on the mouthpiece. Chimney examination: Installed as a restoration/accessory piece due to a severe chip and deep burn on the upper edge of the bowl.
