Catherine de Saint-Phalle, known as Niki de Saint Phalle, is a Franco-American artist (sculptor, painter, printmaker, filmmaker) naturalized Swiss, born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Hauts-de-Seine, on October 29, 1930 and died in La Jolla (San Diego County, California) on May 21, 2002.
