Description from the seller
Rare Samick Artist Series Custom T-Model (2001) – Custom Telecaster Look + Case
Description:
For sale: A beautiful and rare Samick Artist Series Telecaster (T-650 / 'Uptown' model) from the transition year 2001. Complete with guitar case!
For the lover of unique T-style guitars: this stunning Samick Artist Series. This model hails from Samick's absolute top-period factory, just before they switched to Greg Bennett designs. The instrument blends traditional Fender styling with a very luxurious "Custom" look.
Key features:
• Year: 2001 (Serial number 0100208 on the original metal neck plate).
• Look: Gorgeous solid white finish with a contrasting, multi-layer black binding (edge) around the body.
• Headstock: The highly sought-after, traditionally rounded Fender-style headstock with the gold-colored Samick "Wave" logo and the "Artist Series" inscription.
• Hardware: Fully equipped with gold hardware, including a modern Telecaster bridge with 6 individually adjustable saddles for perfect intonation, and solid sealed tuners.
• Construction: Solid body with a bolt-on maple neck featuring the iconic dark skunk stripe on the back.
• Electronics: Classic Telecaster layout (2 single-coils, 3-way switch, 1x volume, 1x tone) for that recognizable, bright 'twang' and bite.
Condition of the instrument:
The guitar is technically in perfect order, plays wonderfully and sounds fantastic. Because it has been lovingly played over the last 25 years, there are naturally some cosmetic signs of use (think light scratches/playing marks in the finish and slight fading of the gold hardware). This gives the guitar that authentic, lived-in character!
Includes:
The guitar is shipped with a sturdy guitar case. Perfect for safely storing the guitar or taking it to rehearsals and gigs.
Why this guitar?
The Samick Artist Series is known for exceptionally high build quality. In this period, Samick built the more expensive import lines for top brands in the same factories. This instrument is not only a beautiful workhorse, but also an interesting item for collectors due to its specific configuration and year of manufacture.
Plays like butter! (.010 gauge strings on up)
