Description from the seller
Oil painting on canvas from a collection.
Hand-signed by the contemporary Italian-Spanish artist, Davide Serrano, and with a double gallery stamp.
Title: Inner Erosion
Dimensions: 70x50 cm
Year: 2026
Davide Serrano is an Italian-Spanish painter whose work explores the delicate balance between instinct and consciousness through the human figure and recurring symbolic presences, particularly the eagle. His works fuse references to classical tradition with a contemporary painting language, where fragmented color, matter, and monumental bodies create a suspended psychological tension.
Between strength and vulnerability, Serrano's figures appear captured in moments of introspection, conflict, or transformation, suggesting an inner dialogue between primal impulse and human awareness. His practice stems from a search for emotional truth, in which the body becomes at once subject and metaphor.

NB: The work will be shipped inside a sturdy tube suitable for shipments. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, the artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
