Collector's Item. In excellent condition, a Very Highly Prized Pipe
Vintage pipe dating from the 1950s-60s in the 'Bent Egg' shape.
This pipe features a pronounced bend that should make for a perfect and comfortable "Jaw hanger" (to be held comfortably balanced between the teeth).
SC (Size Grade): indicates the pipe size in the cataloging system used by CASTELLO from the late 1950s to the mid-1960s, where sizes progressively advanced from "SA, SB, SC and SS."
This Shape 93 model, called "Hunter" or "Huntress," because the particular balance of the bend and the shank allows the smoker to hold it firmly between the teeth, leaving the hands completely free.
It showcases a rough, rustic finish on the bowl, as part of the factory mark of this line.
