Joan Miro (1893-1983) - Ceramic, Miró Artigas n.378

Very rare polychrome glazed ceramic on terracotta, made at the Miró–Artigas atelier. Serial numbered 263/500 on the back and bearing the MIRÓ–ARTIGAS embossed mark.

This ceramic belongs to the famous limited edition of 500 pieces, produced from the original ceramic by Joan Miró executed with Josep Llorens Artigas, published in the Catalogue Raisonné of the artist's ceramic work as no. 378.

Conditions: The work is in excellent condition. The glazed surface retains its brightness and uniformity throughout. The terracotta shows slight darkening on the lower side, due to the natural firing process and the age of the piece. There are also minimal signs of age, fully compatible with the period and nature of the work. The photographs are an integral part of the description and faithfully document the conservation status of the work.
