Antonio Aparicio 2010 Model F Flamenco Guitar – A Powerful Handmade Spanish Flamenca Blanca

This Antonio Aparicio Model F Flamenco Guitar is a beautiful example of traditional Spanish flamenco guitar making from Valencia – light, responsive and built around the classic combination of spruce and cypress.

Made around 2010 (date not specified), the guitar features a carefully selected spruce top with cypress back and sides. This traditional Flamenca Blanca combination gives the instrument the direct attack, clarity and dry response that are so important for authentic flamenco playing.

With a 650 mm scale length and a 54 mm nut width, this Flamenco Guitar has classic Spanish dimensions and immediately feels familiar in the hands.

One of its biggest strengths is the setup. The action measures approximately 2.7 mm on the low E and only 2.1 mm on the high e at the 12th fret. This pleasantly low flamenco action makes the guitar exceptionally comfortable and fast to play. Picado feels effortless, rasgueados respond immediately and the instrument reacts quickly even to a light touch.

And that responsiveness is also at the heart of its sound.

The Antonio Aparicio Model F Flamenco Guitar has a lively and direct voice, with the quick attack expected from a good traditional flamenca. The spruce top provides clarity and definition, while the lightweight cypress construction keeps the sound open, dry and immediate. The trebles have plenty of presence and the basses provide a strong rhythmic foundation without becoming too heavy or dominant.

The guitar is in very good condition - almos unplayed!

What makes this guitar particularly attractive is its straightforward musical character. It is not an instrument that needs to be pushed hard before it begins to respond. The Antonio Aparicio Model F Flamenco Guitar feels alive under the fingers and delivers the fast, percussive reaction that makes a good Flamenca Blanca so much fun to play.

Spruce and cypress. 650 mm scale. 54 mm nut width. An excellent 2.7 / 2.1 mm flamenco setup and in great condition.

A very attractive Spanish flamenco guitar for the player looking for traditional construction, low action and an immediate, authentic flamenco response.
