Item: SHEAFFER IMPERIAL fountain pen, body and cap gold-plated with vertical line engraving, clip with the brand's characteristic white dot and integrated nib (inlaid) of 14-carat gold
Length: 13 cm
Diameter: 1.2 cm
Nib: F
Period: 1960s – 1970s
Materials: Cap and body in gold-plated metal (marked "G.F." next to the crown crest and the SHEAFFER signature on the cap rim), clip gold-plated with white dot and integrated 14-carat gold nib marked "SHEAFFER 585 14K"
Condition: Good overall condition. The gold plating maintains a bright, even sheen across the body and cap, with the line engraving well defined; only micro-scratches from use and some light superficial wear typical of its age are visible, with no dings, dents, or visible loss of plating. The gold nib is straight, with the tines aligned and the nib tip in good condition; the cap rim and the white dot on the clip are preserved correctly. Writing has not been tested.
Accessories: Only the loose piece; no box or papers observed in the photos
