No reserve price - Pipe - Cardboard, Leather, metal - (8)

Set of 8 rigid pipe-shaped cases, intended for storing and transporting a pipe, with a varied presentation of coverings and linings.

The set includes several veneered cases (faux leather/pleather) in burgundy/brown, red, green, black, blue and ivory/cream, including an ivory model with an embossed reptile-skin-like decoration. Inside, there are satin linings (ivory) and, for some, blue velvet/felt. On a black case, a legible gold marking reads “ECUME VERITABLE” surrounding a central monogram (not deciphered), which suggests the case was designed for a meerschaum pipe, though this may not apply to the entire lot.

Condition: good overall used condition. There are scuffs and scratches on the corners and edges, soiling/stains on some linings, and slight oxidation in places on hinges/clasps. One black case shows a small fraying/tear at the end near the opening.
