Metal band from Zürich, Switzerland.
Born out of the ashes of Hellhammer in June 1984, Celtic Frost was started by Tom G. Warrior (aka Thomas G. Fischer, Vocals/Guitar) and Martin Eric Ain (Bass). Never ones to keep treading the same ground for long, the band progressed from proto-black metal ("Morbid Tales") to incorporating more classical influences ("To Mega Therion") and then displaying a more avant-garde streak ("Into The Pandemonium"). In 1988, Warrior fronted a new line up (drummer Stephen Priestly, who played on "Morbid Tales" was the only member besides Warrior to have any previous connect to the band) for "Cold Lake". Criticized as "glam metal" by many of the group's fans, the band's credibility took a huge hit. Blame was later assigned to guitarist Oliver Amberg, who composed much of the album in place of an allegedly uninterested Tom G. Warrior. Martin Eric Ain returned for 1990's "Vanity/Nemesis", but the group folded shortly after.

Seller's Story

My name is Hans Kesteloo and I finally decided to sell my ‘remaining’ collection of 45’s, LP’s, CD’s, DVD’s, laserdiscs and other odd things after more than 60 years of ‘hardcore’ collecting. I purchased my first 45 in 1965, and this was the beginning of an enjoyable, long-time hobby – a real-time “collector’s career”. Now time has come to pass the baton ! When you like to see all my current active sale offers, then click on my name 'Klemtoon' in any lot / auction. Please note: Since I'm a one man show and aged, I can only send on mondays and thursdays. Returns: In case you like to return an item: I will refund the postage cost of shipping the item(s) to buyer. Buyer pays for the cost of returning that item(s) My grading in Brackets is the same as the grading before that, but here I use the old respected "Goldmine" grading for the older traditional collector! vg+ = slight traces of use / visible traces inaudible (Goldmine grading: VG+) ex = very light inaudible traces (Goldmine grading: VG++) nm = as new (Goldmine Grading: M-) mint = new (Goldmine grading: M)
