Description from the seller

Montblanc – Meisterstück No. 149 – 14K (585) two-tone gold nib – Fountain pen

Montblanc Meisterstück No. 149 fountain pen, flagship model of the house, produced in Germany. Vintage example datable to the 1970s – early 1980s based on three concordant elements: the 14-carat gold nib, later replaced by 18-carat in the early 1990s; the marking "GERMANY" on the cap-band, preceding the wording "W.-GERMANY" introduced around the mid-1980s; the absence of a serial number on the clip, which also appeared in the early 1990s.

Body and cap in glossy black resin, gold-plated finishes. Central cap band inscribed "MONTBLANC – MEISTERSTÜCK No. 149", with the white star emblem on the top. Pump-fill mechanism, feed in ebonite, striped ink sight window.

Two-tone 14K gold nib, engraved "4810 – 14C – MONTBLANC – 585", with rhodium plating and scroll engravings. The nib width is not marked, as is Montblanc practice for this model: refer to close-up photographs.

Measurements: 147.3 mm closed, maximum diameter 16.0 mm.

Bundle: original Montblanc presentation box in covered cardboard with velvet interior, warranty cards, fill-in illustration sheet, and original Montblanc envelope.

Conditions: excellent user condition. Resin intact, free of cracks, chips or bite marks. Gold finishes without evident gilding wear. No engraving or personalization. Clean and functioning, tested only with distilled water — sold as is.

Photographs are an integral part of the description. Insured shipment with tracking.
