La Leçon de Fragrance forms part of Les Leçons (The Lessons), a portfolio of twelve original graphic works published around 1975–1976.

This impression is hand-signed in pencil by Leonor Fini in the lower right margin and individually numbered 117/175 in the lower left margin, from a limited edition of 175 impressions.

The title La Leçon de Fragrance is printed on the reverse of the sheet, identifying the work within the original portfolio.
