AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Up for auction is a fantastic copy of the legendary The Rolling Stones – Sticky Fingers album. This is the highly collectible 1979 West German reissue (EMI Electrola / Rolling Stones Records) featuring the iconic Andy Warhol-designed cover with a fully functional, real metal zipper.
• Label: Rolling Stones Records / EMI Electrola
• Catalog Number: 1C 064-63 152
• Country: Germany (GEMA / LC 2251)
• Matrix / Runout: 63 152-A1 / 63 152-B1
Condition:
• Sleeve / Cover: VG+ (Very Good Plus)
The zipper sleeve is in beautiful, well-preserved condition. The mechanical metal zipper (branded "PAN") works perfectly and smoothly. Minimal edge and shelf wear, no major splits or tears. A highly presentable copy of this notoriously fragile cover.
• Vinyl / Media: VG+ (Very Good Plus)
The vinyl retains a lovely glossy sheen. Under light inspection, it shows only minor, superficial paper scuffs or hairline marks that do not affect play. It plays beautifully with great analog punch, clear sound, and minimal background noise. Clear, clean labels.
