Luciano Palmieri - L'angelo blu

Original work, created by me, Luciano Palmieri, who am a figurative pastel artist, lover of classical art who has trained through private studies, with drawing from life, painting and pastel. My works arise from academic research through ancient techniques. My research is a modern and free reinterpretation of classicism and academic figuration, maintaining the pursuit of harmony and beauty.
All my paintings are conceived from my creativity and realized through sketches and with real models and stage costumes.

The painting is executed with the technique of soft pastels on pastelmat paper, fixed to a 1 cm-thick plywood panel. The piece is provided with a spacer, a black 2 cm-deep box frame, and protective plexiglass.
