Jimi Hendrix & Related — How Would You Feel FT Curtis Knight (Japan) - VERY RARE!!; 1 item; released in 1968 in Japan; sleeve VG+ and vinyl VG+; Rock on London TOP-1223, Japanese pressing, 45 RPM 7" single with picture sleeve.
Description from the seller
A scarce Japanese 7-inch single release featuring Jimi Hendrix with Curtis Knight, issued by London Records in 1968 under catalogue number TOP-1223. This is a particularly interesting release from Hendrix's pre-Experience period. How Would You Feel was originally recorded in New York on 6 October 1965, shortly after Hendrix had begun working with Curtis Knight. Hendrix played guitar on the session and was also credited with arranging the song. These Curtis Knight recordings offer a fascinating glimpse of Hendrix's development shortly before he became internationally famous with The Jimi Hendrix Experience. The Japanese TOP-1223 issue pairs How Would You Feel on the A-side with You Don't Want Me on the B-side, making this an intriguing addition for collectors looking beyond the standard Experience-era catalogue.
⸻
Sleeve (VG+):
The picture sleeve shows some age-related yellowing but remains solid, clean and attractive overall. A nice VG+ example.
Vinyl (VG+):
The vinyl has one visible superficial mark but is otherwise a solid and presentable copy. Overall VG+.
