Delta Israel Limited Edition 60th Anniversary Fountain Pen

Due to the great success of the Israel 50 collection, launched ten years ago to celebrate Israel's Jubilee, Delta has created the Israel 60 collection to commemorate Israel's important anniversary. In 1948, the nation of Israel declared its independence and in 2008 celebrated its 60th anniversary. The cap clip is made of solid .925 sterling silver (18k solid gold in the Celebration edition) and reproduces the Yad. A Yad, which literally means "hand," is a ritual Jewish pointer used to point at the text during the reading of the Torah. Its purpose is to prevent anyone from touching the parchment, which is considered sacred.
