Suzuki GS 1000 E motorcycle, first registered in 1979.
Description from the seller
Suzuki GS 1000 E 1979, frame number GS1000-503203 and engine number GS1000-10889. The mileage is 52956
Unrestored, no longer the original buddy seat, but the motorcycle is in good condition. Technically there is nothing to do besides starting it (well, the rectifier is missing), at most the exterior could be nicer/or more original. On the other hand: this is how they rode around in the eighties and this one has aged well; you can also keep it as is and ride it. The ignition switch does not work properly (the correct key works on the tank and the buddy lock); a replacement lock is available. By default this is already a solid motorcycle, and with this mileage it can last another 40 years. It runs, shifts and brakes very well.
This GS 1000 is a ‘rising star’; it will very quickly become more valuable. In today’s traffic it’s not too heavy-handed, still fully usable and even quite lively to ride. It does want to reach 200, but from low revs it’s capable too; from about 1500 rpm.
Documents: Will be transferred into name with Dutch license plate: ZH-08-22.
• Keys: 1 original key included.
This Suzuki GD 1000 is still relatively inexpensive, but apart from a good motorcycle it is also a good investment object. Since specimens in real top condition already fetch top prices at international auctions, this fair and complete project offers enormous potential for the next owner. No complicated key work, but an engine start-up service and a rectifier are needed.
Location: Available for viewing in Tiel, Netherlands.
International transport is possible by arrangement and at the buyer’s expense.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
