Dieter Lott is a renowned German painter, photographer, and graphic artist, born in Karlsruhe in 1940. His style is characterized by a technical and conceptual hybridization of analog photography and avant-garde graphic design. Having received formal training as a photographer and designer during the rise of post-war German modernism, he developed a visual language that oscillates between chromatic abstraction and the documentary-style recording of reality.
