Description from the seller

Howlin’ Wolf – Moanin’ In The Moonlight

A highly desirable first UK mono pressing of Howlin’ Wolf’s classic Moanin’ In The Moonlight, released in 1965 on Chess (CRL.406). Originally released in the US in 1959, this essential Chicago blues album brings together some of Wolf’s most important recordings, including “Smokestack Lightnin’,” “Moanin’ at Midnight” and “Evil”. Howlin’ Wolf’s powerful voice, harmonica and distinctive blues style make this one of the essential albums in the Chess catalogue.

Comes complete with the original inner sleeve. The 1965 UK Chess pressing is a scarce and highly collectible edition.

Condition: Cover VG+, with some signs of age and handling but still presenting very well. Vinyl EX, well preserved. A fantastic copy of this classic first UK mono pressing.
